To realise a textiles circular economy, it's crucial that consumers feel enthusiastic and visualise themselves as active participants. The Consumer Experience research strand of the Textile Circularity Centre will transport visitors to the near future of retail through a multisensory virtual reality immersive experience, including a novel scent-delivery system by OW Smell Made Digital.
We're so excited to invite you to this journey. This journey is designed to help people imagine how we can all contribute to textile circularity. Visitors will indulge in a world where their senses will guide them in experiencing the sights, sounds, and scents of familiar materials and innovative, bio-based textiles. They'll also be able to create and repair garments using the latest 3D printing technology and feel connected to a larger community.
